A whole bunch of 80's music (dancing) at least I convinced them to play some BOC for my b-day.

I did a "don't look - just grab" and came out with:

Garaj Mahal, "Live, Volume 2"

... an odd mix of "jazz, Indian, rock, and especially funk", according to wiki. I forget how much I love funky stuff, sometimes.

Here's the music sample page of their site. Small taste.

I saw ELP live twice and both times I wanted them to have a better PA system. The first time I was just learning, but the second time I saw them, I wanted my truck ful of bassbins to add to what they were already using. My design for sound reinforcement in the lows was done a little differently from what has beome popular now days.

I have followed John McLaughlin's career. Most of his work is appealing to me, also.

I'm still stuck on this funk kick. I'm spinning some James Brown, right now.

Nice Job!

... to the recording industry for once again pulling the plug on, yet another way to promote their products to interested listeners, purely out of their own greed.

Thanks, I do sometimes.

Right now, it's jazz.  Ravi Coltrane

Click on "Music" then "Download" and there are some samples, along with some full length tracks available. I know I posted this in the other thread, but now it's in both :P
