I just had to question that though because I remember talking to people in rl a few times and them commenting that I was really nice after all and not aloof and snobbish  like they first thought. I always thought I was a clumsy misfit and never wanted any attention which was part of the reason why I didn't want to talk to people.

I have been a lot when I was younger. But generally I don't like swimming because I can't see well without my glasses on. Plus I don't like seaweed and other icky stuff that is in the ocean sometimes, heh.

Great! You know I'm not asexual & I am hetero, you mean? Yet I am, actually, a virgin. Do you really think I couldn't have 'pulled' a girl, for that, if I'd really wanted to? (There are some 'easy' ones around, if I wanted it that much).
Then, I can still enjoy talking with a girl, who's 'unavailable', for whatever reasons. You may know quite a bit about me but there's a lot you don't yet know, too!  :laugh:

Yes, I gathered you are sexual and hetero. I don't know about how easily you could "pull" a girl, I don't know you that well, heh.

I can enjoy talking with almost anyone, no matter who they are, if they are easy to talk to. I don't tend to look at people as their sex or race or other characteristics first. People are people to me.

Well, can't ignore whether it is a girl or a guy &, if the girl is attractive, I will notice! Most like some fun flirting & are, generally, pretty good at telling if it's just fun or serious. Whilst I'd not talk to another guy that way, so sex makes a difference to how I chat with them. Not skin color/ race/ ethnic origin, anything like that, though!
So, in IRL, I'd still accept your being asexual & not be trying to get that from you, I can safely promise. Surprised?

Maybe it is because I am asexual that I view everyone as being the same.  I see it as a good thing anyway. As far as flirting goes, I generally don't see it unless it is really obvious.

I am not surprised at how you would be in rl. Decent people are generally ok with respecting others' wishes about their preferences.

Ooh, me, decent? Glad somebody thinks so.... There's more than enough girls 'available' to go chasing one that really isn't. By now, I'm happy on my 'own', like that & never, actually, wanted 'casual sex'. Which hardly seems to work, especially for the girls that try that route. Not that it's too unusual for people to try a 'choice' that doesn't, really, exist....
Oh, well, off the soapbox. Um. It would be due to being asexual, yep! Can't think of another question for you at the moment, though. Besides, my asshole hurts (he, he!)

Here. And going by that prescription I posted above, I think the axis is wrong as I can't read with my glasses on. Too fuzzy. I have had this happen to me once before. This time, however, I don't have the money to get tested again until the end of this year/next year.

I think my different meds caused the change because it didn't happen straight away.

Hey, McJ. :)

I was away for a while because I was in hospital for just over three weeks, then I had day therapy for another three, then I had to finish my thesis in 3 days (not fun to stay awake that long) and another thing that keeps happening is my computer freezing when ever I tried to load this site. Thankfully, today it is having a good day, but really I need a new computer.

As for the eyesight problems, I figured out what was causing it - benztropine. It causes blurry vision as one of its side effects. Weird because it didn't do that last time I was on it. It is to counter the side effects of lithium and haloperidol (shakiness and parkinson-like symptoms) which have gone now, as well as the side effects of benztropine (thankfully).
