It is not a question of the right guy. That is like saying that the right guy could get you going sexually as well. I have been with men who I loved and who I thought were right for me. About asexuality? Well, for me I knew that I was since I was a kid, even before puberty. I never wanted kids either and still don't. Bit late now anyway. I knew that any relationship I got into, I would want close companionship and a little bit of romance and that would be about it. I don't know if it ties in with me being autistic but I do know that lots of autistics are very sexual so it may not be that at all.

Well, I gather that 'asexual' is a trait more common amongst people on the spectrum than otherwise but I don't suppose that makes much difference, does it? But then I don't really get the way people want to cite odds about such things (apart from most of them don't understand probability, of course!). The odds of any individual being that specific person are 1 in infinity! Any properly qualified Maths people here to confirm that, for any doubters, please? lols

Resigned, somewhat. And I am not bothered if people talk to me or if they don't. There seems to be some truth to the schizoid dx I have. Plus, if some guy shows interest in me, I have to take into account where it will lead and what I don't want. It is a tricky situation, I think and a definite stopper to potential relationships.
