If you just post the url without any tags it will automatically imbed here .

Doesn't always. On some posts it just shows the YT link.

I think it matters if it's copied from the url at the top of the page, instead the 'share' link under the video. They're different. Sometimes I forget which is the right one, but if one doesn't work then I try the other.  :dunno:

Huh.

Weird as I have used the top of the page thing for all the videos and sometimes it doesn't show. Odd.

Edit: Yup, still not working.

Look at the url I posted. It's different. I copied it from the url line at the top of the webpage.

That's why I said I sometimes get confused which one works. At first I thought the one from the top of the page was the wrong one. If one doesn't work, then the other one will. I'm not really sure if I get confused about it, or if sometimes it just changes.  :dunno:

There's a limit to embedded videos per page, I believe.

Why is it that Mystery Nior from places like Scandinavia is so well written, yet still incredibly dark?

Good question. I'd expect it to be a knock-on effect following one or two very successful books and scripts but maybe also the publishers and production companies on the lookout for more.

Some people with scripts in their kitchen drawers got their chance. Others build on that.

I would not think it to be the Scandinavians somehow being special. We don't have a special gift for broody and dark, some of us simply got the opportunity to write and publish stories. Our societal environment plays a part, of course, but that's not why. It's just more of the same.

I'm fairly sure that pretty much anywhere else in the world there will be another genre waiting. Cultural and sociological coincidences will determine if any of those get the chance.
