I was going to drive to a dance social down south (2.5 hours drive) but it got cancelled an hour before it started. Which is just as well I didn't go, as I would have almost been at my destination when the news was posted on FB. What would I have done if I got down there? Go to Charlestown shopping? Race to Fingal Bay and beat the tide on the spit? I dunno.

It would be interesting turning up to this monthly social without my mother for once, to see if HE still ignores me
