My stepdad Peter got Covid from the golf club, went home and passed it on to Mum. He's been fine, mostly, still "eating for Australia" as my mum said. But she's spending most of her time in bed feeling awful.

Both kids and I have had it.
My wife has never tested positive and according to all the massive bloodwork they did when she almost died a while back, she has no antibodies for any of the strains, so she has never had it, even though she lives with three other people who have had it.
My daughter had one strain and my son had another. I'm the only one of us who has had two strains of Covid19.
Now there's a third identifiable strain, I understand.
Knocking on wood here, but none of us have gotten sick.

Hope your parents come out of it just fine!

Thank you DirtDawg. I'm planning on calling Mum tomorrow. She's been posting on Facebook today so I think she's ok. Peter is probably fine. Anyway, I'll call them.

Doctors have found that my mum has a 'leaky valve' in her heart. She complained of breathlessness after she had Covid, so tests were done and that was found. I don't know if Covid caused her heart problem or not. Pretty shitty if it did.

So sorry. Hopefully it is manageable or at least fixable.

They said it had been there for a while. So not due to Covid. I don't know how they can tell.

My mother is just recovering from having had it. It didn't get too bad for her, just a bad cold.

I tested positive a year ago by accident when I was taking the travel test to return from my Christmas trip. Never showed any symptoms and no one around me got it, even though I couldn't isolate completely due to the cub. Possible false positive.

I'm pretty much the only person who hasn't had Covid at the shop where I volunteer. Some people there have even had it twice.
