What happened here? There's more now than I copied before. Did I somehow miss two, or did it really take that long to accept their membership?

I'm feeling so misunderstood. :violin: I'm not asking if they're bots, and I don't expect them to post. I'm asking about the process of new members showing up in the member list. On July 5th there were only four new members for this year, and then when I looked later there were two more, but their registration dates placed them in the middle of the others. If the two more were at the bottom of the group, it would make sense I made a mistake and didn't copy/paste them all, but I don't think that's what happened. I'm asking why it took over a month to show up in the list, for the members who joined in May.  :dunno:

Ah! It's because we had a backlog of unapproved potential members. A few days ago I went through and cleared it out, which is where the May new member account came from. It had been sitting in the list since May. I checked and found that even if the IP had been a spammer then, it was long since stale and no recent spam activity had been reported, so what the hell, why not approve.

Now why the backlog got so bad, is the fault of myself and the other admins not keeping up with it.
