Every year, they try to sell Halloween to Swedes by flooding the stores with Halloween crap. Thankfully this household remains mostly unaffected.

Do people in your country do costume parties even though it's not for Halloween?  :orly:

I saw some teenage girls dressed up for Halloween last weekend.

Seems we have Halloween parties here but nobody seems too concerned about the date.

Back in 1976 I went to Europe for 6 weeks in the Fall.  Walking through Hertis (sp?) department store I saw they had their Christmas decorations up - in October.  To myself, "It isn't even Thanksgiving!"  Major duh.
