I don't think I have ever used the word "emoticon" in verbal speech. I have only ever typed it...but it's kind of strange sounding.

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

Don't use IM at work, but a co-worker was talking about the emoticons available, and referred to it as selecting emoticons from her emotional palette. That cracked me up.

I like the name Seamus. I dunno why....I really like reading that name. Seamus. If it was spelled differently I might not enjoy saying it.

^Get your name changed. Loads of people do it. It will make you feel happy every time you write your name. My last name was changed in 2007 and I still feel good about writing it and signing it.

Vituperative. I used reticent in a text and my friend wrote back, "Huh?"

I love Olde English words

Thy, Thee,  Thus,  Thine  etc

Beholdingness : obligation
Cankerdely : spiteful

and these words should make a come back

Snollygoster :  an unprincipled person like a politician.

Jargogle : to jumble

blah blah blah
