I have always loved Steve Earl. Kind of wore the wrong kind of hat in Nashville.

My hat did not work that well either. Mentioned this shit before!

Never got to work with him, but went fishin' out at Dan Seals place a few times.

Just watched the vid for the n'th to the tenth time. I always love the part when he is spreading the seeds in a head high tobacco crop. They rarely let it grow that tall anymore. They got to get it drying when it is about chest high.

I always wondered what the tobacco flowers would be like in my pipe.
I grow Nicotiana alata as an ornamental and I use it to grind up and spray for buggies, because it is quite poisonous to most creepy crawlers. Never had the guts to try smoking the amazingly aromatic flowers it makes at night.

I have been going through my Jefferson Airplane collection for two days. I tend to do that. I pick one and just go through it all again.
