And I dunno, people age steak do they not? I confess  though I've always found the practice of hanging meat REALLY weird. You'd think that after people stringing up pieces of beef or venison, or any kind of meat for that matter for a month, given or take, that it would decay and become not just foul to eat but outright dangerous.  I could picture how it might have started being done mind you, say in those times past where there were no supermarkets, no packed meals, and when the difference between success in raising crops and meat was that 'twixt feast and famine, when the meat was left, and they said to themselves fuck, that has to have gone bad, but its eat it, or starve and the mothers amongst us have their milk dry up and our children starve and die. So they'd eat it anyway, with as many strong herbs as they could find

Hanging meat like that though still strikes me as kinda...icky.

  Years ago, a teenage coworker was raving about the concert he'd attended, including his
  time in the mosh pit.  He said, "I got kicked in the head!  Twice!!!  AND in the eye!" 
  I told him to watch for visual changes that could signal a detached retina.

Was a top one last time I went to see cradle of filth. Heavy, energetic night but certainly a good one. Some guy did get carried out with his  face smashed open though. At least I think it was  a guy, it was hard to tell, looking.
