Few years ago, in my country, leading politicians were rethinking their policies, not because of what they thought was good for the country, but because of the polls telling them the popularity of their party went down. WTF, that always happens, part of the deal. What is good for the people comes first even if your own party members may not like it.

I can imaging Hillary doing a good job in the second term. But till then, she'll bend and bend her ideas and words because popularity matters more than what is good for the country. In that way she's a very good politician.

If she could be voted for second term only, it might not be too bad.

Trump is just as publicity and popularity horny.

Did not watch the video. But saw the words underneath it. Part of rights for everyone being entitled to a lawyer.
Makes being a lawyer a tough and sometimes really nasty job. You may have to defend people doing things that are utterly heinous in your eyes, because it is part of the justice system that everyone is entitled to a lawyer and to all the gaps in a jurisdictional system.

Sometimes lawyers make an exception for one thing they cannot defend. But they will be defending people totally opposed to their own thinking and ideas of justice. And they will go beyond their own ideas of what is right and wrong because of that. But they will also remain within the boundaries the law gives them. Sick game, but better than lynching or having community wrath taking over without second thoughts.

I know people who quit law-school because they could not combine that with their ideas of ethics.

Well aware that Hilary keeps bending the rules. Not watching videos lately. Apart from the occasional music one.

Reading papers gives an impression I can manage better. Outcome is the same. I do not trust Hilary.

For the nation, maybe Hilary is just a tad less bad than Trump. Trump will destroy lots in the country and in relationships between the USA and countries abroad. Hilary has some political competence (including the lying) to keep the damage smaller. But both put their own importance way higher than the importance of the people they are going to represent.

Not envying the people in the USA.


Scrap should go for it, and stand up as an independent candidate.
