i am on a vacation of sorts as enrollment is down and i am a political pariah at one of my schools.
so i have one class now until i build up some political presence.
it's actually quite nice. i will be finished with grading today, and can give full attention to a couple of the students who seem to have a genuine interest in research.

  My father appreciated the serious students.  I still remember the name of one of them, years later.
   My father was her project advisor and said afterward, with respect, "She was a hard worker."  8)
