I don't know if everyone is the same but I often hear about people with specific preferences.

I have been listening a lot to Rap/RB and hiphop. Really like Flo Rida

but then I listen to

But now maybe some ELO...

I am varied in most respects. No real preferences.

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

I'm the same. I can be listening to black metal one minute and Australian 80's the next, then some Enya, then some trip-hop before some Katy Perry :P

She's still recording stuff believe it or not. She released a new album late last year.

That is trippy. I remember listening to her in my little Datsun about a million years ago, give or take

I am the same way.  Having older parents (almost 40 when they started having us) exposed us kids
to a lot of "older" music, and my perpetual mental adolescence keeps me interested in the new stuff too.  8)

They call it Dunc's Law.  I read about it during one of my thousands of hours on here.  :tard:

I consider myself a liker of all sorts of music and as of late I like listening to classical music (via radio) too.

An uncle of mine (bag of shit, btw) told me, almost thirty years ago, that as one grows older one starts to appreciate classical music more and more. I laughed and said no way (or sutin' similar) butz..

Um, carry on..

Yeah, we had a member here years ago who championed his preferred type of pretentiously arty/edgy
music, which he admitted might sound like "boring crap" on the first listen.  I said that if my first impression
of music was "boring crap," I wasn't likely to listen again, no matter the pedigree or "cred" of the musician.
I vote with my ears.  Maybe I'll be a little embarrassed if it's considered pop fluff, but if it's good, it's good.  8)

Dave Barry, in his "Book of Bad Songs", mentioned that music tastes is very subjective.   I have my likes and dislikes, as does everybody else.  And that is  8)
