To me, that is a warm room.

I will sleep with my window open, also during winter, unless there is a cold wind blowing right inside. Then there will be a window open on the other side of the house. And I always turn the heating system down to a point where it will still make sure the house will not freeze, so 12ºC or so. I do like my water supply system to stay intact. But I also like coming in a cool livingroom when I get up. So that I can enjoy it slowly heating up. Turning the central heating system on by 2 degrees at a time. A hot radiator for every girl coming out of bed in the morning.

This is just the natural air temp right now. I don't put my heat on until it's into November and I like sleeping with the window open in the winter :)

Ah, that makes sense.

I do have the heating on right now. Even got it high, for my standards, 19ºC. I'm wearing a pullover, a scarf and carry a hot gel bag in my neck. Clearly the flu. :P

Past weeks, I have put on the heating in the evening once or twice, not even for the temperature, but to chase the humidity from the house. Having the heating just one degree over the actual temperature, for half an hour, with windows ajar, makes all the difference needed to get a good atmosphere again.

I have no rules for time, when the heating goes on. Just do not want to sit in the evening in a room at a temperature of 16 degrees Celcius. In the mornings that temperature is fine. If the weather stays soft for a long time, it may be deep in November before I turn the heating on during the day. If the weather cools down rapidly next week, then I won't wait till November.

I find that here, the evenings and early mornings in the winter are the coldest. I like to light a fire first thing in the morning and again in the evening and it works well to take the chill off.

I have a house with a central heating system, and no fire place.
I do have an oil heater, somewhere, but it has been a long time, since I used that one.

Oldest kid is fleeing the livingroom today. 19ºC is too hot for her.

I dunno exactly.  It's a cool, rainy, springlike February day.  I'm airing out the room.  8)

Not too warm right now.  I turned off the heat hours ago, and the bedroom is the coolest room.  8)

It's a little warm and stuffy now, and a bit dry.  It's making my throat sore.  :tard:

Guessing around 20C. They've installed floor heating in the flat, which is nice.

Did you ever buy that hygrometer, to feel safe in making your room a bit less dry?

No, I'm fairly comfortable in my bedroom, now that the heat's off.  I also don't  want to
risk causing mold or mildew with too much humidity.  Work is the driest place these days.  :apondering:
