The newspapers opened this morning with mentioning a big earthquake in your area. Are you all in one piece, with a roof still over your head?

PPK would be the one to ask, it was much closer to him.

It wasn't on the San Andreas fault (based on the epicenter) but I'm not sure which fault it was on.

The quake was on the North American plate and I live on the Pacific plate so I don't think too many people on this side felt it.

Just read up on the USGS site.

The earthquake occurred in the deformation zone between the Hayward and Concord faults.

Meaning that this earthquake wasn't associated with any fault movement, it was just rocks getting pummeled.

Hadn't Richard moved to near San Francisco?  PPK had better post or we're going to send in a search team.

PPK will probably be busy working on repairing the damage for the next few weeks.
