Daughter's boyfriend slept over. He just got his driver's license so he drove here.

The lovebirds took the car to shop, earlier, and I felt *really* old. I could practically hear the wedding bells.

Edit: You know what is worse? She picks me and not her mum to open up to about all of this? Bloody Hell! I am not female. I have no idea abou this kind of thing and all I know is that teenage boys are horrible bloody things. I used to be one myself. Ah well...

That's OK, as long as you can listen, comfort and support her. And now and then tell her some teenage thoughts are bloody nonsense of course, you have to act as a grown up parent.

And you may not know about being a female teenager, you do know about your girl. That specific knowing is way more important.

Oh hell, just hang in there, medicate yourself if need be. I'm a bit glad I have a boy...although there's a fair share of issues there too. Next year he hits 16. :hide:
