We had about 5cm of snow; there was quite a bit when I woke up this morning, and more fell during the day.  I ran around the garden with Waggy and threw snowballs at her, then in the evening I took her to the park.  There were lots of people were sledging down the slopes, and a few optimistic individuals had snowboards.

Clear skies here too.  Still got the snow, though it's hard and crusty from thawing and re-freezing, and there's a fair bit of ice around.

It's really fucked up.

Not that cold, only a few degrees below freezing, but the ground is covered almost two inches deep with tiny hard-frozen spheres of ice (ranging between one and two millimeters in diameter) and the roads are almost an inch deep with the stuff.
It is very slippery and does not compress like snow does. No one seems interested in traveling more than about ten miles per hour on these micro-marbles.
