Yeah, we're having quite a wet Summer here this year. I don't mind that much but it makes it hard to finish painting the wooden cladding of this house.

Oh, I think coming weekend it will be dry (enough) to do that..

We are having a lot rain this year as well, beaten the average amount.

The next fine day we are meant to get is next Wednesday. I may have to visit the laundromat before then to get clean and dry clothes.

Question is, shorts or not?

Clear skies but a mere 9C.

It is quite warm here. 'Weathersite' states it's 27C (at 14h45) at my whereabouts but it feels warmer. Almost sticky.

dry but partly cloudy.  I hope Dirtdawg's folks won't be impacted too hard by Hurricane Harvey.

How big do they think the chance Harvey will have a big impact on your habitat?

Starting on Saturday through Tuesday we may get 3 to 5 inches of rain.  Which is not much, but Harvey is predicted to make landfall Friday night stall for a couple of days, make a U-turn go back into the Gulf of Mexico and make landfall near Houston.  I'm thinking based on that scenerio we would get more rain and for a longer time, but I'm not worried except when I might have to drive outside my neighborhood radius of 5 or so miles.
