Apologies for my Sudden Disappearance

Hello everyone, I apologise for so suddenly disappearing from the site, but I'm currently in a spot of bother with my Wi-Fi router. I'm connecting from a free hotspot right now, and this is the first time I've been able to get online since I lost my home connection.

The paranoia and impatience here evidently hasn't changed much, with people insinuating that my absence was a malicious attempt to trick people into posting questions that'll remain unanswered, and that I couldn't handle the "intensity" of the forum!

Anyway, for hopefully obvious reasons, I'll be locking my Q & A thread until I'm able to maintain a regular presence here again. I'll probably be able return next week.

I don't see any obvious reason to lock your q&a thread other than a childish fit of pique. You just explained your absence. Why go to the extreme of locking your thread? What are you afraid of?
