Short version
My intermittent man has been getting divorced from his wife in Spain. He wants us to get married and his 15 year old daughter wants to live with us!
Longer version -
I have been a happy mistress for years. Lurch (i will call him lurch as i already have members of the adams family here) split his time between here and spain. We agreed this was best so that both his kids (his daughter in spain and the urchin here) grow up with Dad around.
Lurch always said his wife was a narcissistic control freak with an insatiable love of money and obsessed with her public image. Ok so i thought i was getting "my wife doesn't understand me" bullshit! This went on for years. At times i felt Lurch was edging towards me and i think if it had not been for his daughter he would have left his wife a long time ago.
So, about 18 months ago this situation blew up. He hasn't spoken to his wife for ages but has kept in touch with daughter, and i have met her and so has the urchin. I will call her 'wednesday'
A few months ago Wednesday started to contact us saying mums new boyfriend had been hitting her. She said her mum had taken sides with the new b/f and she was being really horrible to her. She said she was grounded and not allowed to see her boyfriend who we was shocked to discover was 25 years old. Lurch was planning to go there to see what was going on but his wife contacted me on faecebook to say that 'wednesday was suffering from a mental illness and had gone to have treatment in a medical facility'
and also 'no one was to see her as it would upset the treatment which was for some kind of personality disorder'
Of course we smelled a rat! and it took ages to find out the truth. She was not in any kind of medical facility. Nor had she been diagnosed with anything. Her mum had took her to social services and said she couldn't handle her anymore. She also lied about Lurch and said she didn't know where he was. She probably did not want him involved because he owns half of her villa in Spain and if he found out Wednesday was no longer welcome he would make her sell it! So Wednesday was placed under care of local authorities where she promptly absconded to her boyfriends - got caught almost immediately and ended up in a juvenile detention centre. She kept asking them to contact her Dad but they wouldn't listen.
The authorities there suspended parental responsibility of Lurch and his wife, and Lurch didn't even know what was going on. So we are trying to get his PR restored and have made a formal application to Spain for her to reside with us in England! Had to deal with 'International Social Services' who told us we would have to wait for social workers here in England to make an assessment. But, this is great, due to the Trojan Horse incident in Birmingham (muslim extremists infiltrating schools and taking over positions of power like governing boards) the social workers are inundated with cases and all are deemed urgent. So we have to wait. Already waited 6 weeks.
While all this has been going on Wednesday managed to break out again and has been on the run for 5+ weeks with her boyfriend.
