I only saw it today

Must be glitter in my eyes!

Probably my Dad. I had the best Dad ever and i miss him.  He never ever lost patience,  not with me, my mom, or anything. He always thought before he spoke.  He never jumped to conclusions, not like my Mom.   He was very wise.  He liked a pint.  :laugh:

Agreed.   He used to take me to a pub when i was a kid, called 'The Black Horse'.  There were lots of grounds out the back, it had a hedge maze and i used to love running around it.

He used to drink  'Mild'  'Guinness' or 'Bitter'  and he used to let me dunk my finger in the white frothy stuff on the  top of his pint glass, when my mom went to the loo.  He used to carry me home on his shoulders as i would get tired.  Happy memories.

He was.   He was 52 when i was born.  My Mom was 42.   She didn't want any more kids, as she had only just gone back to work when my brother started school.  Money was tight.  My Dad persuaded her to have me and he used to cycle 8 miles to work every day, and then go and do an evening job cleaning a school.  He was my hero.
