.. only slightly different though. E.g. it needs 40 quid of gasoline (per month) to properly work and preferably a spot in the garden that's mostly in the shades.

When speed isn't that important Online's 3-in-1 deals are cheaper, I think.

Most admit, just took a speed test and Online isn't really fast. 9 Mbps download and a 0.9 Mbps upload I got on the test just now. (http://www.speedtest.net/)

Well, blahiah, dunno.. suit self of course..

I have the online internet/phone thing too. The village I live in will at the most give me 8Mbps, if everything is cooperating. Only way to get faster is via cable.
I was pretty content about online for a few years, but lately my phone is not what it used to be, and with the expanding internet experience of my daughters, my modem needs resetting a lot. So, Ziggo seems to be the best solution. Will have to go to digital indeed, there is hardly anything left that is worth watching.

Mowed the lawn, tilled up the unused garden space, trimmed all the bushes and several trees and dug up 2 other bushes and dumped them.  All before 10 am.  :headbang2:

Did some window shopping at the second hand places and other misc furniture shops. Went and put a TV on layby at Big W.

Also scored a TV stand from my dad.

This afternoon I properly cleaned and vacuumed the attic, changed bed sheets/linnen, did a laundry, got some stuff at nearby supermarket and made dinner.

And changing gears back now.

Went up mom's, put trash out.

Went to the bank, then the drugstore & grocery store for mom, dropped stuff off at mom's.

Came home, got food, vacuumed, cleaned the downstairs and I'm working on the 3rd load of laundry.

The grass still needs cut.  :P   Maybe tomorrow.
