Straightened a little, washed a load of towels (need to hang them to dry), fed family, went to store, returned item, talked with Prince Albert while having coffee and muffins.

Played peekaboo with Jaws, one of my axolotls.  He comes to the front of his tank to look at me through the glass, and if I hide behind a piece of furniture, he gets excited and tries to regain his line of sight to me.  He's a vicious bastard who'll attack and eat anything smaller than himself, but he's remarkably tame and playful towards humans.

14:11 - Peter5930: So, she thought I was your lover and that I was sending you a box full of sex toys, and that you wanted to move to Glasgow to be with me?

Yes, but it's easy for him to mistake my finger for a worm when it's sticking through the water surface at feeding time, and he let go once he realised that my finger wasn't edible.  He has about as much capacity for inflicting injury as a goldfish, and he doesn't attack me if I stick my whole hand in the tank.  He's fairly relaxed when I have my hand in there, and a couple of times, he's come over and positioned himself in my palm and let me curl my fingers around him.

Woke up.
Breakfast.
Rehearsal with my accompanist for a concert on Thursday, she said that I play "beautifully".
Read; worked on cryptic crosswords.
Lunch.
Walked to bus stop.
Caught bus to library.
Internet; read.
Walked to work.
Taught students.
Went to bus stop.
Old friend from high school/primary school saw me, gave me a lift home, stayed for an hour or so.
Internet.
Read.
Dinner.
Waited for shower to be free; still waiting.
