I managed to program one of the two remotes I bought.  That's why I bought two, I figured I had a 50/50 chance.  BTW, it's an ancient TV, so I knew finding the code would be a challenge.
Have you considered getting a new tv? A 27" is only around $200.

We will be getting a new one when this one dies.
Kill it. Taking a tv out and shooting the hell out of it is fun.  >:D

But getting arrested for discharging a firearm is not fun.
You don't have to shoot in city limits. If you do, try to nail that POS Nagin. I won't be spending my vanilla dollars in that cocksuckers chocolate city.

You do know that he's not the mayor anymore, right?

Mitch Landrieu, Moon Landrieu's son and Mary Landrieu's brother, is the mayor there now.

Good to know, but shooting him is still a good idea.

Spent an hour and a half talking to a friend who is about to get divorced.

I understand Hizz Honor has moved to Dallas and will be doing the lecture circuit.  Buy a ticket and take your best shot.  Anyway, I live in the next parish upriver, Jefferson Parish.

The only time the backups were ever needed was when Dunc was webmonkey and an admin IP banned him. He restored the site to an earlier state and the admin in question lost her powers.

Then why do you continually interrupt our postwhoring by doing the backup?  :zoinks:

I bought 50 cans of tuna fish, a chicken, a gallon of dill pickles, 4 packs of soy cheese, a bag of grapefruit, some salad dressing, and salads for dinner

Yes, I wrote 50 cans of tuna fish.  That's about 2 months supply for us.
