What canuck province is above New England?

Let me check...   :orly:

The map is small, but I'm seeing Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia above Maine!   :snowman:

I'm going to visit Canada sometime. But I'll save it for later because cheap fares are available for the great frozen Nerth.

You could go to Quebec and practice your French on the friendly locals!   :toporly:

That's a good idea. You could practice there too. I saw what you posted, you haven't forgot it all.

Indeed, I remember more than I realized! Well, in my school system, they started us in French classes in sixth grade, and in
high school we had a wonderful, enthusiastic teacher who made it fun. She would tell little anecdotes in French and we
would try to keep up, and one day I realized I was picturing the things she spoke about without translating into English.  :)

They really are. That was just a brief moment, almost 30 years ago, when I understood her without having to think in English,
yet I've remembered it all these years and it makes me think I might be able to learn another language even now.
She also wrote, on one of my tests that included fairly long written answers, "You have a real 'French sense'!"   :2thumbsup:

Just from the little I have learned I find it to be elegant and logical. It sounds cool. I had a Chem Professor and an Astronomy Professor that were real enthusiastic like that. Too bad I sucked at college.  :autism:

If you went back today, would you be a better student? I know I would be, but oh well...  :chin:

Cleaned some fruit-fly jars, collected ivy, moss and rockery plants from the garden and planted them in my vivariums with the fire salamanders, cut some strips of chicken breast and hand-fed them to the larger axolotl larvae, examined a failed waxworm culture and determined that it had been too moist, then found a survivor and decided to gently dry it out with my dehumidifier in case there are enough survivors to produce a breeding pair of moths, ordered some more live food cultures and cut a sheet of acrylic to the right dimensions for repairing my broken aquarium.

I think you SHOULD be a part of this hilarity. Your handing some of them their arses as hats would be fun to watch.

It is so far beneath you though. I could do a decent job for us both with my own understanding of high school level physics.
