Made my daughter clean up a mess she made in the kitchen while she was eating ice cream.

Went to the park with her; pushed her on the swings; took her to McDonalds and bought her a Happy Meal and an iced tea for myself.

Sounds like a lovely time.  Did she get the toy she wanted?  That seems to be the most important part of the meal.

They are giving out tiny stuffed animals and she seemed OK with the one she got which was a brown bear.

She complained the whole time she was cleaning up her mess in the kitchen, though.

Ah, yes.  The great cleaning up tragedy.  In 3 acts to boot.

She complained the whole time she was cleaning up her mess in the kitchen, though.

She has an idea that if she accidentally made the mess, as opposed to deliberately making one, then she shouldn't have to clean it up.

I explained that when grown-ups make messes, even if it's by accident, they clean them up, so she needs to learn since she is growing up.

You're right about the three act tragedy, though.  She interspersed comments about the unfairness of having to clean up a mess she accidentally made with comments about my laziness for not cleaning it up for her and asking if she had the mess cleaned up enough yet.

comforted the Princess Royal.  Continual nausea is no fun.  So far Emetrol and ginger tea haven't worked.

I remember my 24/7 "morning sickness" days where I puked my guts out and couldn't keep anything down and I feel nothing but sympathy for her.  If it's bad enough, maybe the doctor could call in some Zofran tablets or Phenergan suppositories to the pharmacy?

I placed a call to him around noon.  Thnakfully? it's only nausea, no vomiting at this point.  Probably a side effect of the fuloxetine (Prozac).  I've cut her dose in half since we went up about a week or 10 days ago.  Thanks for the concern, Callaway.

Poor Princess, I hope she will feel better soon. Nausea is an awful feeling.  :(
