Worked on a house with a beautiful view of Lake Candlewood

Hope you had some time to enjoy the view on the owner's dime.

Yes it was nice lots of boats going by and a perfect yard something I will never have :zoinks:
A yard that is not full of machine stuff is not perfect for you.

 :plus:

And in a home owners association they would give me the boot before I finished unpacking :2thumbsup:
:agreed:  I think I would like living in the same neighborhood as you but I have dealt with anal retentive neighbors before. Some folks think active code enforcement is a good thing.

Went shopping for new boots and running shoes, then napped for an hour when I got home.

Agreed to a trip that presents some logistical problems, but is doable.

Not a lot. But I bought a light switch to replace a broken one with and fetched our little rabbit from the farm that took care of her while we were gone.

Is that a pet rabbit? My family raised rabbits to eat when I was a kid.

Yes, it's a pet. My mum said the same thing, btw - they raised rabbits for the same reason.

I would have to do that as an either/or thing of raising them to eat or to be a pet.

Yeah, me too.

This one lost its mate not too long ago so she's a bit lonely.

When I was a kid, my neighbour raised pedigree rabbits. All rabbits that weren't 100% perfect in his eyes, would be raised to eat. The "happy few" were for exhibitions and breeding.
