I got up and had a shower
Went to the chemist with GA so he could get some meds
Went to the June O'Connor place on my own so I could hand a form in.

Filled in four forms today.

Two more to go.

Oh, and my support worker filled in one too.

Bureaucracy rocks. Bless the paperwork. It's what makes a country slow.  :thumbup:

Two were about my job. How I like it and all. Funny, to have to answer if I am confident about the future of the company. How dare they ask it? They are sacking all employees with contracts of more than 25 hours a week. 11 000 people. All knowledge and all expertise will be gone. And they want to know how I see the future.
They have gone nuts officially now.
Why all these colleagues are being sacked is a mystery. They don't have enough employees. They are making a good profit, despite the recession. And then they go sacking all their long time loyal employees.

Got an e-mail from my best friend to say she's split up with her boyfriend and she's booked a trip to come over to visit me on Saturday. It was a big shock because I was supposed to be going over to Scotland in a couple of weeksto meet her and I was looking forward to that, but this is just as good. I haven't seen her in aroud 6 months so I'm dead excited. I've spent today cleaning the house from top to bottom and tomorrow I'll have to go out and do a huge shopping and get in loads of proper food as well as going out and buy stuff like bed clothes. I would have preferred if she'd given me a few more days to get organized because getting everything sorted by tomorrow will be very stressfull.
Anyway, I'm stressed out to the max but I'm dead excited. She's never been to Ireland before so I'll take her out to see the country. Can't wait :green:

Helped monkeyboy get organized for being away most of the evening
Tried to run some errands not realizing all the stores were closed due to the holiday

Did it help?

I went out with some people to Ikea and we had lunch there. It was really good.  I bought a small step ladder. I also bought some biscuits and chocolate for my stepdad as it was his birthday on Sunday.
Met GA on the way home
Went to Centrelink
Went to the shops to buy some bread. We end up getting some of it for free. :)
