I am yet to do this, but I have two of my daughters "friends"  over for the night.   (what insane person invented sleepovers, anyway!~!!!~~~!!)




I am setting my changer to run all the "fucking girlie movies"  while my wife pops corn and I go to sleep. I have to be there at five AM tomorrow. This will be a challenge just finding sleep. iI am OK right now, but I fear that my walls are tooo thin for the screams yet to ensue.



I doubt thast I wil;l sleep

Tried to fix a water pump but was forced to give up when I discovered a crack in the housing. No way that pump could build up any pressure to speak of.

For a well or just one that is used intermittently?  If it's light duty there are thing you can seal it with at an auto parts store that they use on engines

It's for a well. I don't think I can seal it. :-\

My wife is indeed awesome, but I am a waste of usable oxygen, mostly.

I've helped my kids with the last preparations for the birthday of their dad, got them on the bus to him.
After that had my downtime, because they were totally hyped this morning, till everything was ready in a way they were content with. Then they calmed down.

Chatted a lot, did a bit of washing.

Then picked up kids, and ate at their dads place.
Got them home and quite happy in their beds.

Did nothing "useful" in the evening. Apart from making tea after having boiled the water three times.

And after my next cup of tea, I will go to my bed to sleep. Wound down enough to do that.

Waking and getting kids fed and to school was a major achievement today.
