Fixed the washing machine and watched a full cycle of it working with the front cover off to make sure

Opened my cell phone bill and noticed that I used way to many minutes so the bill is $132 instead of $46. This sucks. I've just called friends and family (on my house phone) to let them know not to call my cell phone because I won't answer. Last time I went over was about 5 years ago.

I did not have to respond to my cell phone, because I had it turned off. I keep my landline phone's ringer turned off as well.

When I was ready, I made the five calls I wanted to make from my land line, regarding the festivity of the season (bollocks, really) and each time it was suggested to me that I make other calls to other people who have asked about me, I ferused, stating that I was pretty much phoned-out already.

No lie there! I was phoned-out by about the late seventies and I have yet to heal.

Anyway, on a more positive note, today (actually yesterday as I write this) I went to the Legion of Honor in San Francisco and strolled around looking at the beautiful paintings and sculptures. There are a lot of Rembrandt's, Van Gogh's, and one by Salvador Dali. My favorite is The Russian Brides Attire by Konstantin Makovsky 1889. I took pictures but I just got my digital camera and the pics did not come out good so I need more practice. When I can get some good ones I'll put them in the Photos thread. Going to Art Museums is relaxing, I would like to go to the Louvre and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY sometime.

Worked on a neural net project, but at the moment I've reached a bit of an impasse.  There are some algorithms I need to implement in order for it to be capable of learning, but all the reference material I've found has been full of esoteric and opaque mathematics.  Maybe it'll make more sense once I've slept.
