I got up, too, but I grabbed my machete and got a small work out on the overgrowth tangling into the fence. I whacked until the entire line of vines was cut into foot-long pieces. I then placed the messy vine stalks carefullly around my favored flowering shrubs as an air break for the piles of maple leaves that will be raked up around them in a couple of weeks.

I'm sweaty.

Not a lot, today. Got some kind of stomach bug that kept me awake half of the night but I seem to be better now.
