Worked some. Talked to my AS support person. Worked some more.

Went to a job interview - it was a group interview, they said that there are at least two more interviews to go through before even being considered, so I am not hoping too much right now. I am pretty happy doing what I am doing at the moment.

Also went to a careers expo, there were some university stalls (or whatever they are called) and I looked up Behavioural Science. I think that would be a great subject to study. Being able to go to university is a completely different thing to think about, though.
Is there an open university out in Australia. It could circumvent the farce of actually physically going to a university all the time.
I don't know, I am not sure of what an open university is. But then I don't know a lot about university in general, it has always been a "well, you're never going there anyway, so you don't need to know anything about it" subject.

I don't know if it's called an "open" university, but a lot of universities have online classes where you don't have to physically go to the building. Also, the one I went to didn't have a campus all in one place, it had buildings scattered throughout the downtown area, so it felt like part of the town.

The link didn't work... :-\

I think it would be better for me to go to a specific place to learn. If I tried to learn from home, I would slack off and stuff.

It works if you go through Google. Stick in "open university Australia" and then click on the link.

Btw, you are more likely to slack off in Uni than at home. There is so much more there to do...

Yeah, there are loads of societies you can join. I spent most of the year down the College Bar and didnt go to loads of my lectures, so have failed the year and have to resit...

I remember walking through the grounds at University of WA and seeing lots of people sitting outside smoking pot. :P

It sucks that you have to resit, Hadron. I learnt that lesson when I was in Year 12. I regret it, hopefully I can make up for that.

I know I'm much less likely to slack off at university than at home. And that's after the distractions.

There are lots of cool things you can do, though, that aren't socializing. Student ID gets you into all kinds of university shows and concerts and plays and speeches for free. Since we had film and special effects departments, my university used to bus us to special screenings of all the high-budget FX films when they came out, like LotR and Star Wars. And there are clubs for things like computer gaming, so if you do decide to socialize, you can at least know it's with people who are interested in the same things you are.

I think the same. If I am at home, I will sleep a lot. So it is better for me to go somewhere to learn.

Wow. Yes I would like stuff like that. :)
