they scare me
well, they don't scare me, but i don't much like them :laugh:
my friend had a tarantula called Rory
he died last year :(
he's the only spider i'd have been ok to sleep in the same house as lol

I leave them alone most of the time.  For me it's ant I hate ants and will go out of my way to squash them at least we don't have fire ants in CT like when I was in Florida

I am allergic to fire ants.   When I was 5 at my grandmother's house/farm I was playing in a huge dirt pile that ended up being a fire ant colony.   They bit me all over my body and I had to be taken to the hospital.   I couldn't breathe.  Good times.

continued my experiments with making cakes without an oven.  first one was a banana cake, which was pretty good.  today's was a sort of parkin, again, very good.  i use a pancake pan.  the only thing i have to work out now is how to stop it catching on the bottom...
