Hid from a vacuum salesman :-[

DirtDawg is probably more persuasive than I am, but I thought having the Kirby salesmen in my house was a nightmare.

I doubt this very very much, but I was mainly being a sarcastic twat with my statement to Parts. As Calandale said, I hate people in my house much more than I hate vacuuming the carpet. The results of vacuuming make the chore quite worth the dread, to me, anyway. Better to just turn up the music really loud, grit your teeth and get it done.

As far as the sales pitches, I have sat through quite a few more sales trainings than most of those guys, trying to find work I could actually stomach in the retail world. I can recognize a "close attempt" a mile away and sidestep better than many are trained to cope with, all without calling them cunts, mostly.

I've been getting prepared to take a trip up to Charlotte, NC. For over a year, I have been on a mailinglist for an Asperger's meetup that they have there once a month, but I've never been able to attend due to the fact that the meeting is held on a Monday evening, which conflicts with my work schedule. --I'll keep people posted on the outcome later, sooner if I can find free WiFi up there.

Drove around a lot. I think I dropped off kids here and there, and did some shopping, and went to the library, and did some more shopping, and picked up kids, and it's all a blur now.

I hung mine up on hangers and then hung it out on the line, but it was too cloudy, so I had to bring it inside and hang it on a rack.
You too! :)
I hang GAs good shirts and his jacket on hangers and then on the line, I have only known my mum to do that as well. I don't hang underwear and socks up outside, I use an inside rack for them.

I rarely use the dryer, it uses a lot of power.

I use it sometimes.  I like to use it just long enough the get the clothes hot, then hang them up, since it eliminates most of the wrinkles that way.

I don't ever use it on underwear or bras.

I have not thought of using the dryer like that. Is probably why I iron a lot. :P

When you hang up the warm clothes, then you can smooth out the wrinkles and it works pretty well.
