Bones

(Good grief.)  I just realized I'm probably the only member who remembers Shatner and Nimoy's appearance on the NBC Today show to talk about the new series.  Am I really that old?  And yes, I remember the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show too.

I would have to go with Picard. He was the first captain I watched. I have only recently begun to watch the original series.

Kirk he had style :zoinks:

If he said to me  "Make it so"  i would jolly well make it so with jam on it and a smile on my
face.

Don't think I ever saw Picard?
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Don't think I ever saw Picard?

Capt. Jean Luc Picard was the captain in The Next Generation.   Patrick Stewart played the role.  I was watching something about him the other day.  Now in his early seventies, he has a girlfriend in her early thirties who is a dancer :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows:  Gwaaaan Captain

With Bodie here. Picard, without a doubt.

Kirk never stood out for me. He may be the first captain I saw, he absolutely wasn't the most impressive.

Kirk never stood out for me at all.  I have this row a lot about the best star fleet captain with the urchin's dad.  He is a big kirk fan.  I always see kirk as a fat head beer swilling womaniser.  I dunno if i am mistaken but did kirk have an alcohol problem?

Not Kirk, but probably Shatner. :P

:indeed: And a very flat character too.

Chris Pine put down a Kirk character I could believe in. But, no way he will win from Picard.
