I smoked an occasional cig to try them growing up, smoked far more weed than I ever did cigarettes back then.

But even that was never to excess, a few hits and I was done. If I drink wine I have one glass, 2 if I want to get toasty, 2 beers max if I'm drinking beer.

I'm boring as fuck basically, don't get drunk, don't get high, and I don't have any outstanding debt. Every once in awhile I open the truck up on a deserted 4 lane. ::)

I smoked a pack a day for years and years until seven years ago. Quitting was about the hardest thing I've ever done and I still miss my cigarettes.

Tried to start smoking on 3 occasions.  Never even finished a pack each time.  The only time I ever craved cigarettes was when I was on bedrest with the PR.  Probably boredom more than a real craving.

I have a packet of consolate (menthol) in the cupboard, which will probably last me a couple of weeks.

I used to smoke a ten box of benson & hedges a day before i had the urchin.

I never smoke around the boy, nor do i allow anyone else to.

Weed and other narcotic use are all in my past, or at least not anywhere near the urchin  :police:

Don't know what to fill in in the poll.  :P

I've smoked, on occasions. Liked the taste, did inhale, but, it did not make me crave for more.
Found it ideal, when going out with friends, after one fag, smoke in bars didn't irritate my eyes any more.
Liked the taste of cigars even better. So, may have bought three tins of cigars, in my life. (yeah, really heavy user....)

Smoked a bit more around my twenties and forties, when I used cannabis using tobacco as a flammable. Was not hard to stop with that either. Disliked the effect of the tobacco.
Somehow the smoking things, and alcohol are not the hard addictions.

Chocolate though, that's way harder.

And, when agitated, under stress, or what ever, I crave dairy and sugar, and, it isn't doing me any good when I'm in that mode. Downward spiral, making me crave for more, etc.

Funny, when everything is OK, sugar and milk don't have that hold on me.

I added an option for you too, but am out of space for any more :)

Just to sound like a real addict :p :

The clean stuff is OK, when it comes to chocolate. The darker the better. No withdrawal symptoms, nor extended cravings when the cocoa percentage is above 70.
I tell you, it's those sugars and added fats, they are evil.  :hyke:

Still smoke 'me' own thinly rolled fags on a daily basis. With fresh (tadski moist) tobacco and gummed rice-paper. Um, p/m 20 of them a day.. for ja, I'm a stupid mother fucker.. being totally aware of all of the negative this addiction brings.

Lack the wish to quit these days though.

I quit and it was easy. Tobacco is not addictive to me.
Not many who are as lucky as you and I are, when it comes to that.

Loved rolling cigarettes for my uncle, as a little kid. Great way to pass Sunday visits. (He also taught me how to produce a decent beer from the tap, when I was around 10.)

Quitting coffee wasn't hard for me either. But, quitting tea is impossible.

Still drink coffee, and it better be good coffee, but, not every day.

I smoked a few cigarettes here and there when I was out drinking in college but it never really appealed to me.  I hate the cigarette smoke smell but oddly enough love the smell of a freshly opened pack of them.  Chocolate and coffee on the other hand, just have to have them

Coffee ...that's probably my only "gotta have it".

It cuts through the fog, and stabilizes my mood. :rollingpin:

I only tried smoking once and didn't like it. I was curious. I have tried cigars several times. Not fond of it either. I have my own addiction and it's sure not smoking.
