It's not. It means getting to be the one who writes letters to ISPs, writing access lists to ban entire nations and calling in suicides.

It's pretty cool, and I've had fun with it that I otherwise wouldn't have.

I haven't got much to base that opinion on. I've been to a few other countries;

Law Enforcement in the UK is much better than in the States. US Cops are pricks, UK Police are bro-tier. I don't feel threatened when I'm around a Bobby in the same way I did around US officers.
The people in Columbus, OH are awesome. The people in Florida are fucking horrid (apologies to Sky).

Overall, yeah, I guess I do. We have better consumer protection than the US, a strong currency, fairly stable and predictable weather, free healthcare, a strong and growing tech sector and our internet infrastructure beats the shit out of the States.

France is pretty nice - the South has lovely weather, but I don't speak the language. Holland is nice, Belgium is nice.

London is an awesome city, though.
