I work in construction and they cut the best whether it tar paper, insulation ,roofing or just about anything.  The folding one has a replaceable blade like the other but also a regular knife and a serrated one,  I carry it almost always.  The other was still in my pocket from work.  The replaceable blade means you can abuse it badly and not worry and it is always razor sharp.

I have a few of those that fold because I put holes in my pockets. I carry mine when I am doing a lot of shipping, and I used to move a lot so they are my choice of knife as well. I have a couple that deploy just like folders.

I have two mason jars full of them and had dumped them on my desk checking them for radioactive ones made with uranium glass   I found about 8 of them.

I got my pocket knife from my brother. It's the best I have because it's very small but very sharp and surprisingly durable. Very, very useful.

I haven't had pockets in my shirts or pants for years, and I don't trust them anyway.  :tinfoil:

In my bag (or "pocketbook," as women of my age tend to call it where I'm from): Keys, phone,
wallet, loose change, ibuprofen, omeprazole, mints, a few bandages, a few pairs of vinyl gloves,
receipts left over from recent purchases, occasionally my checkbook, hand sanitizer if I have
any that hasn't expired, sometimes a tube of hand lotion, sometimes a pen and a shopping list.  8)

Pair of goggles.
Pouch of tobacco+papers
lighter
Packet containing a pair of unused gas mask filters.
Graphite-500 micron thick foil
Chemically-resistant bottle (empty)
Another of the same bottles, containing iodine monochloride (no I didn't intend on keeping it in my pockets long, only long enough to move it from the lab to where I'll be extracting the remainder of that synthesis from the column)
Pocket knife, one with a curved tip, and lock-back blade, no accessories, just one sturdy hunting knife-like blade and a little catch on it that disengages the lock and can be pressed inwards whilst closed to instantly extend the blade with a flick of the wrist, locking automatically once the blade whips out and aligns with the lock mechanism.
Can of pepsi max
Gas mask
Pair of elbow length gloves
Various lengths and widths of flexible tubing
For some reason, a little cylindrical lump of sulfur
Various meds, muscle relaxers, morphine shot, cimetidine (for stomach issues)
Roll of teflon tape
Portable argon gas cylinder, face shield tucked over the top
Candy, various sorts (quite indispensable:P)
Can of naphtha
Tube of dow-corning high vacuum grease.

Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

All the better to keep you in:P

Just lots of them. I had a dressing gown on under a coat because it was fairly chilly out yesterday and its got deep pockets, so I could stick the gas tank in one and hang other stuff off the top of it.

the blue thing is aqua aura. the black thing is a meteorite fragment. the rust colored thing is a piece of candy. the orange pen isn't a pen, it's a paintbrush inside a pen outside - gary's brush. the green paintbrush is for painting on a tablet. the black case with rivets is holding a leatherman fuse.
