Renaeden, My English accent is Standard American. Got it from my speech therapist, and was enriched during my time in the call center industry.

Calavera, not that I know what it means. I know of basic Arabic greetings, names of cities, and whatnot. My dad works in Saudi Arabia, and I have stayed there for quite a while, and I learned most of the Arabic I knew from dad.

At my last job, about 1/4-1/3 of the people who worked there were Filipino.

Grease Monkey, I'd love to migrate there, but given my finances, seems it'd take quite a while. Besides, we used to live in Saddle Brook, NJ as a kid, but had to move back here after two years.

Sister O'Madness, the storm struck the southern part of the Philippines. Thank God we're in the northern part of it, so apart from a few rains, we were spared. Besides, our community was planned to prevent any flooding.

McMorrison, if you're asking me, I'd interpret "cut of my jib" as my disposition. As for the word "jib," are you referring to the nautical jib, the bodily jib, or jib as a verb?
