What a piece of garbage ... in the wrong career!

I never had any kind of therapy, other than being slapped for not making proper eye contact or not answering quickly enough -
I was still considering all sides before answering!!
Or being slapped for the many almost constant questions I asked that no one wanted to answer, let alone deal with having a five or seven year old even think of asking.
Autism was not really a societal conciousness thing in the late '50s and early '60s.

BUT, we had great luck with the therapists in the 2Ks who helped our kids in many ways.

^I'm supposed to be getting a new credit card in the mail as my current one has expired.

I found that the spider that spins a web the full width of the carport hasn't bothered today. It probably knew my car was going to back into it.

That listening to music on my mp3 player is helpful for me, that it's an escape from stuff that's mundane and overwhelming to me.
