how is it embarrassing people? ok a couple of them are like the guy on the bike but they're funny. and most aren't embarrassing people at all

I meant the viewers.  Part of the attraction of stuff like that, and The Office, etc, are that you feel a bit uncomfortable and embarrassed watching.  At least that's how it works for me.
