What is Intensity?
« on: October 17, 2011, 10:32:32 AM »
I want to jump on the bandwagon.  What is this place?  Let's let the WPModFags and regular WPFags answer.

(The following is a sample of both old Mod Logs and threads that had been removed and hidden from view)

So what's the deal with them? I know little so please educate me. Also, what's with the negativity I see in regards to them I see at time.

No need to explain its a very small forum of people who are 18 and over who enjoy
being rough with each other. Its where the negative side of human nature and extreme
lack of empathy meet up for a party.

Not sure. People often want attention and will get it in negative ways when they do not have the social skills to get it in a positive ways. But at the same time most aspies have a low tolerance being on the receiving end of negativity so they shy away from there.
Those remaining tend to be thick skinned and the negativity loses all shock value.

It could but its likely the false confidence of a bully. It would be helpful if you could go there and be nice and avoid meltdowns all while being attacked. That would make you more resistant to criticism. But if you become more bitter and your critical of others your likely to invite more misery than understanding in real life.

Complete freedom of

take the piss out of one
another, now and then.
There's a lot of playful
banter too.

There's some pretty foul porn and such
posted there. But, all in the name of free
speech. Frankly, I find the people there,
in general, more able to give me the kick
in the butt that I need.

Again though - 18+. And you'd better have a bit of

Maybe, but I'd suspect that anyone without

But, there are members there who are
not mean at all. And no one is particularly

In the End Intensitysquared is no better or worse a place as the Wrong Planet even in the end. We all are how We are with are Asperger's in the end no matter how different We are in the end. What matters is that We all have Asperger's is it not. Why make One site better or worse than. For to Me it never has made any since in the end. We all can yet get along, for We all serve a greater purpose to help each other is it not so. So We need to get off Our high horses and to a greater think for each other in the end.

Can We Yet Do That?

It is a matter of thinking no more than just that is it not We must yet move forward not backards so when will We just do just that in the end................

There are a few people there who have
some real disagreements with this site,
and a few here who can't stand intensity.
But, in the end, they both provide something
useful to me.

Because it's a small site, if you stick around
through a little bit of abuse (usually deserved),
you become something like a member of a
family. Doesn't mean there aren't arguments,
but it's a lot easier to find respect for someone
in such a small environment. There are other
small aspie sites, but most are much more
heavily moderated that WP is, which I find
distasteful. I want honest opinions, even if
they might hurt me a bit.

WP has the tremendous advantage of a
huge membership base. This means that
there are more points of view, and more
chances of finding someone with which to
discuss any particular issue. There's protection
as well, so one might feel safer disclosing
certain issues here, without being taken
to task for them. Finally, there's the fact
that it is open to younger members, which
allows for a number of advantages (not
all of them perverted   ).

You know I have sometimes a Love or Hate Relationship but in the end it has more to offer than for thoughts that are adult 18 years or older than here or will ever in the end.

Why it is uncensored for all that want to learn from eachother.

The Asperger's Community is one community is it not?

We must be a community to see a community do We not in the end?

What makes a community is each other sharing knowledge for what is better for Us all.

Maybe only a few will even care in the end huh.

We live in a world that does not care but for a few that does.

Now what do We all do?

Can We Yet Care for Eachother or not?

The Way is hard if We Make Hard so Why make Hard?

Listen to what I have said, for it matters to All of Us does it not in the end.

The irony for me is all the "in" jokes, meant to demark a hip "in" crowd from the rest of us. Not unlike the NT world, where the humor and interplay is often mysterious to us, and serves as a barrier. Ironic to be treated this way, even if inadvertently, by other (supposed) AS's.

One gets accepted pretty easily there.
Your ideas are tested, no question, but
I've found that the members there seem
a LOT more interested in new arrivals than
in just hacking at one another. It's just that
when there's no 'fresh meat' to play with, we
play amongst ourselves.

Its greatest sin is its a small community and for someone like me who has extreme inattention less active sites are for less likely to generate enough ideas to keep my slow
brain stimulated. Though being smaller I'm sure its more family like. Which is kind of nice but being lost in the masses here feels pretty nice to.

Calandale, I was one of the people initially invited to be an an admin there, long before you showed-up. I've seen the place develop, and have expressed my concerns about what they do since early on. That's why I no longer post there, and that's why they devote so much time to attacking me. It's a place that encourages the worst of human behaviour, and I'm not referring to the crude sexual jokes, either. I'm referring to how the socially-able clique who run the place pick a victim then hound them, not just on that site, but on every other AS site they post. They use spurious reasoning to convince the naive and vulnerable that somehow this behaviour is acceptable, and that the victim is at fault: just as manipulators do IRL. They cite: "there are no rules" in a context that implies freedom, but conveniently omit the fact that rules prevent those with power from abusing it. And the admins there have a record of abusing it: modifying posts, avatars, suspending people from other sites where they have power, and deliberately encouraging disruption of a UK based support site that's done a lot to help people with AS find friends IRL.

What was initially set-up to encourage freedom of speech and equality, the site where it was discussed that there'd be no place for admins, has been corrupted to represent the worst humanity can contrive. The titled in-crowd in the online box at any time is just one manifestation of that: suck-up to the right people, attack the weak and vulnerable, and you'll get a position with power and colour to your name to signify that! Of course, I don't pretend that's any different to how things work IRL, but it's ironic that people who usually lose out in that system should create one of their own.

You know, I've been critical of WP in the past, and even stopped posting here for a bit. Things here have, previously, been worthy of criticism. However, that pales into insignificance when compared to the behaviour at Intensity² I refer to above. The irony is even deeper in that the people who were here criticising this place are now part of that. Supposedly responsible adults, who have families, participating in a site that deliberately disrupts other sites that help people with AS, less fortunate than themselves, find friends.

To be fair, not everyone who goes there bullies.
It is a certain segment of the site that bullies.
I doubt Calico is one of those since she has had problems herself with the people there.
I myself left because I am not equipped to deal with the behaviour there, but I suppose it appeals to some.

Well, Intensity is a tough website technically, because you have a bunch of people that are mean. There is Mature Content. Sensitive people wouldn't function right on a type of wesbite like that. Now, I am talking about people who's feelings get hurt easily, or if things offend them easily. You don't have any moderators, so you can get away without getting banned. The whole reason why I joined was because I am physically and mentally tough. Between a sensitive person and strong-minded person is a big difference.

What's in it for me?
"...you have a bunch of people that are mean." is hardly the best advertisement in the world.

How about:

"If you can out-growl, out-bark and out-bite a junk yard dog, come and join us for some uplifting debate."

That might be a little more sophisticated.

I would not say that the site sucks. It serves its purpose by allowing those that need to vent in the manner described by the thread's author a place to vent as such. I just think there are more constructive ways to do so.

At least those fools will not be doing the venting here on WP.

I cannot abide negativity. I know what a negative mindset does, and how it can make a person angry and bitter at the world. Worse, I know how reading other people's negative thoughts can drag you down to their level. After all, it is much easier to destroy than to create.

I don't know about you, but when I give someone a wedgie, it's because their underwear looks too loose and I think it needs to be more snug. What does that have to do with a dos attack?

Oh Werbert is everybodies hero. AspieMan is a clone of Werbert raised by wolves to

Yeah but if any body insults Werbert their going swimming with cement shoes. There
are several crazed Werbert stalkers here that make Manson's followers look like circus
clowns. I think one of his fans here has a metal hook for a hand. One guy did a tour in

I hate to break it to you, but I am actually AspieMan's archnemesis, Dr. NT.

At the age of 17, I went to a drunken houseparty, where I was bitten by a spider with raging hormones. My brain rewired itself, allowing me to read body language and charm NT girls. Unfortunately, these powers only appear when the moon is full.

Those people insulting eachother over there are all friends. It's simply the kind of rough banter that WP does'nt allow. I've never seen anyone kick someone while they're down over there. (unless the person did something first to deserve it)

It will be quite a while before they find out. I've noticed a few WPers have joined over there.

I don't see a lot of activity in the threads. From the times I've read over there, I have mixed feelings about whether I would be able to enjoy it and fit in or not. The one thing I notice over there is that there are two-way conversations, which is something I haven't found here. Maybe it's just me being me and nobody will talk to me over there either ...

No offense intended to the kids here, but I like the fact that you must be at least eighteen to join, although thirty five might be a better standard, since I'm throwing numbers around. I'm hoping that eventually people stop whining about average stuff as they get older.

I'll have to register and spend some time over there, so I can properly assess the place for myself.

Well, unlike you, our publicity does not consist of exploiting someone who went on a killing rampage. (Will Freund, anyone?)

You can say whatever you like about Intensity, but that doesn't change that fact that you are a two-faced Richie Rich who's only interested in making money by hiding behind a false pretense that you are serving the autistic community.

Intensity2 is synonymous with honesty; you, however, are not.

That is cruel, even coming from you, HaleBopp.

Slim was not rejected by INTENSITY². She was too young to be there because INTENSITY² is a site for adults only. She is welcome back as soon as she turns 18.

Quote:
You have found INTENSITY², the autistic spectrum site everyone loves to hate.

We stand for freedom of expression, combative debate, and the generation of ideas. There are no boundaries here over what may be said, save for one rule - be prepared to back up your words. Or face the wrath of the community.

As such this site is not suitable for children. If you are under 18 please come back when you aren't any more.

Sorry, but I gots to have an audience.

What is somewhat interesting though is the relatively high ratio of female to male over there for an aspie site, we've often wondered what caused that... do aspie females have a larger desire for free speech than the males do? Do they find the forum rules too confusing and oppressive to follow? Are they out there looking for a bad boy? We may never know for sure...

Sweet zombie jesus! 9 pages? Can somebody gimme a summary?

Everyone has their own reasons for things, but as I see it, inviting alex over to intensity is a gesture meanings that they are so unbitter and apathetic about many of them not being allowed over here, that they don't even mind having the person who exiled them over there.

But then again it could mean he would be in an environment where they could tear alex a new asshole without fear of being banned or their comments being edited. I'd prefer the first meaning myself.

Anyway yeah.... come over to intensity... we have... candy. Non-poison-laden candy at that! Now where are you gonna get deals like that in this day and age? ^_^

At least those fools will not be doing the venting here on WP.

One of the more surprising aspects of the Intensity experiment, is how nice people seemed to become all on their own. As the community grew we saw certain behaviors that got people stomped on for, and some of them actually learned from their experience and grew into better people. Others unfortunately did not and became rather bitter and twisted people....  But other than a few sex-obsessed people who don't really post about nothing else (and hey there's plenty of that here at WP too right?  ), the behavior has been mostly light-hearted banter, a couple of bar brawls here and there, and surprisingly quite a few people who've taken it upon themselves to look after the more vulnerable members... Posted: Mon Oct 30, 2006 12:13 am    Post subject: My experience with Intensity
For those who do not know, before IntensitySquared there was Intensity. When I first found out about the original Intensity, I thought it was filled with trolls and that all people did there was attack people and troll. I was disgusted with this and did not join. After Neuroman stopped hosting the first intensity, IntensitySquared was created. Out of curiosity, I started browsing the forums there. I enjoyed the humor that the people there had; I noticed more humor than trolling. I wound up signing up. In the beginning, I got into a few altercations with people who I felt were trolls. However, through the Main Event forum (a place where you can debate with someone you have an issue with), I worked out my differences with three people and decided they weren't the bad people I thought they were. I had misunderstood them before. That Iwas when I found out what Intensity was really about.

Intensity is a lot like real life. If you flame someone, they're likely to flame you back. Those who are kind and don't flame rarely get flamed themselves, and if they do, people usually stick up for them. What's good about Intensity is instead of banning people who flame, we expect challenge those people to back up their words. People who have problems with each other are also given the chance to work out their issues (through debate) without being banned or their posts being edited/deleted. For the most part, we get along, though there is some drama just like at any forum.

Another good thing about Intensity is for the most part, the members decide how it's run. We often have polls allowing the members to decide on site-related issues, and every three months the members vote on who gets to be admin.

Intensity isn't for everyone, just as no forum is really for everyone. Due to mature content (which comes with freedom of speech), only those who are 18 and up are allowed to post on Intensity. Also, people who are overly sensitive may not like it. However, I'm a very sensitive person myself, and so far nothing has upset me too much, as there are a lot of very kind people on the site.

When it comes to recruiting, I've only invited a few people who I felt would like it that were over 18. Some of them signed up, and some didn't. I didn't feel the need to pressure them. I personally don't care how many members we have; I enjoy the site the way it is now. We usually discuss on the site who we think might like it and/or be an interesting member. I also know that some people wanted werbert there, because they thought he was funny. He did sign up and was there for a little while. I believe Alex was invited because there were people who wanted to debate with him, as they were unhappy with how he runs WP. Those issues are over and done with now though, so I will not bring them up.

As far as the numbers go, Intensity has not been around that long. It is much newer than wp, Aspergia, AFF, etc. That's one of the reasons it is a small site. In addition to that, we don't allow anyone under 18 so that counts out the kids. We also try to be careful about who we invite. Personally, I enjoy it being small, because it's more relaxing to me. We go through times when there is little activity, but there has been a lot of activity these past few days, and it takes me hours to catch up.

I recommend anyone over 18 to check it out and decide for yourself if it's something you're interested in. If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine. If you're interested, great. Also, it's not competition for WP, because you can post at both. I know some people who are active on like 5 aspie forums.

For me, Intensity is a fun place to hang out, and the members there are like my second family. They have taught me a lot about life, and I will probably be posting there for a while.

I’m making it an issue because I don’t appreciate your tactics. I2 claims to be about free speech, but there is no unreasonable restriction of speech at WP. Basically, no personal attacks (virtual assault) name calling, or unreasonable use of vulgar language. WP seeks to be a family friendly site. Critics of WP say they don’t like these basic restrictions. They resent the imposition of any limits or boundaries. As people mature, they realize the value of limits and boundaries to social cohesion. I2 is an excellent site for people who are not yet ready to accept certain restrictions on their behavior in exchange for a larger social network. I refer you to the membership statistics.

Referring to Alex as Richie Rich and a two-faced coward is name-calling, and unacceptable at WP. Referring to Hale-bopp as “an embittered person, with nice tits and a great ass for a retard, who will never experience true love because all the guys just want to f*** her.” Is highly speculatively on your part and totally uncalled-for. I too have problems with Hale_bopp, but it is not necessary for me to resort to such inflammatory rhetoric to express those concerns.

Please feel to continue to gripe about what you don’t like about WP and it’s members at I2. That’s what it’s there for. I’m sure you can understand how we don’t appreciate you criticizing us in our own house.

you haven't been around that long, or you have your head buried in the sand.

Quirky Carla stated much of the same arguments as you just did, before she decided to give it a chance rather then show bigoted ignorance. that, is a bigger acting person, imho.

i have to admit that alex has certainly begun to lean towards the freedom of speech side of running WP.
Can you now see how important competition is to the marketplace?

once again, you haven't been around that long. Wp is a better website now than it used to be, thanks in large part to the example set by intensity.

oh, c'mon alex, why don't you join? after the initial todo, i am sure that you might find it a nice place to relax, without the responsibilities that come with ownership.

Of course it's speculative. Do you really think that I know her so well, even when she lives at some island far, far away?

Anyway, she does the same herself, telling people that they have no lives and such online. Speculative, of course.

Well, you state it like it was established fact. Perhaps if you included the words "I believe," or "I feel," well... it would merely be name-calling. Are you unwilling or unable to express your concerns without resorting to such imflammatory rhetoric?

I2 IS about free speech and allows people to work out their differences instead of being warned/banned. For people over 18, this is a mature way for adults to handle things. It's SELF moderation. However, I think a site like WP that allows children and teenagers needs to have rules such as no personal attacks, flaming, etc. since it is a family friendly site. I have no problem with sites that have restrictions, as do many Intensity members. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of Intensity members still post here. If they cared about WP's restrictions so much, I doubt they'd be inclined to post here.

There are other things to criticize about WP that you wouldn't even know about, being that you only joined here last July (assuming you're not a sock puppet). However, like I mentioned in my first post in this thread, they happened a while ago and don't need to be brought up again, especially since this specific thread is about Intensity.

Look, if people want to go to I2, that is their business. I however do not like that type of atmosphere and in fact, need some of the set boundries. I would otherwise go into meltdown myself.

WP is set to be a family friendly site what has rules. I2 is a free speech site with the no holds barred approach to free speech. The people on I2 have the right to talk about whatever they want on I2 but I certainly do not have to listen to it.

WP on the other hand takes the US government approach. That signifies that there is some speech which is a detriment to the community standards here and as such is not allowed. Again, I can still ignore those that I do not want to listen to but I can also feel safe in knowing that I will not be attacked or what have you. The price of not being able to say certain things on WP is a price that I am willing to pay.

There has been alot of criticism about WP, some of which is rightly warranted. I do not want to leave the community however just because of a few bad issues. I would rather work to make WP a better place.

I called for this thread to be closed not because another site was being advertised but because it was degenerating to a petty argument between 2 people that was bordering on personal attacks. If things can be kept civil, then this is a discussion which should freely flow.

It is also good the Intensity is more directed towards Adults Only Site.

We may have or differences and different appoarches on how to do things but niether of them are wrong in the end.

WP may call itself a family friendly site but there is a lot of pornographic and semi-pornographic dialogue here (which I have contributed to ), that anyone with the capacity to click could read. There are minors who read the mature forum and there has been mature content posted outside of the mature forum anyway... I know it's basically impossible to get proof of members' ages, but in light of what is actually posted here, no, I would not call this a family friendly site.

It is more or less family friendly but definitely not functionally family friendly.

In response to Bouchard, as I said before, Intensity isn't for everyone but people people who get "attacked" are the vast majority of the time people who dish out the "attacks". Most of it isn't done maliciously anyway; it's more in jest. I agree with kevv that different approaches are not wrong, and i think en_una_isla made some good points as well. There is sexual talk outside the Adult Issues forum. I've also witnessed various personal attacks and baiting of trolls...this has gotten even worse than it was months ago when I used to post here frequently. In comparison to Intenstiy, WP is family friendly, but in general, I would say it isn't.

Oh and silly little autism is linked to plagues of killer tomatoes, AIDs and the bubonic plague with little or no evidence base. Still got the same old regulars going around that were here when i first came over from Aspergia Island.

and I2 well replace the woe is me and instead its like the internet message board equivilant of ground hog day like your reliving the same thread again and again with the same crowd and their same in-house jokes that got boring 3 months ago and its well hardly riveting conversation either. Bud of mine was on there for abit as well and he got bored of it for similair reasons, i got bored of it.

So rather then try and start up some pretend board rivalry lets actually realise that these boards are basically the same thing they both have bullys they both have people who take things alittle too seriously and they both have incredible dullards posting on them just like any other messageboard on the internet. This board has had some retard get a double barrled shotgun and kill people...well a uk magazine music board i was on had a scandel of a peadofile and some nutter stabbing someone he recognised at a gig. Intensity has had a raving liberal democrat voter pester them like a nat on a camping holiday

If you want to go try out intensity your free to do so, even Ljbouchard might get his head out of his posterior and actually do the most horrendous thing and register and realise theres nothing to be afraid of. Your not going into the middle of a jewish community in golders green and buying mein kempf go on have alook around if you like it stay if not come back here or go elsewhere. Its not a big deal

Evolutions gift.

I posted a WP link on an ADHD forum site and it was removed by the moderators on that site in a few hours. Oh the lady I was posting it for read it. The point being
no forum site wants to promote another site because of competition for mind share.

Note: This is a personal view, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or misinformed. If you choose to remove this post I will be deeply dissapointed.

I agree. I don't have a problem with members linking to sites that provide help, spport, and assistance. The intensity site is full of personal attacks.

Personal attacks are not acceptable on WrongPlanet so don't write something like this again.

You think you are god's gift to the autistic community, news for ya, you ain't. You are just an administrator for the most popular, but just another autistic community website. You can't deal with a little competition.

That site isn't a support site and isn't competing with WrongPlanet.

There is a little something called freedom of speech, even in places there aren't freedom of speech provisions it would very hard to determine in a court of law what is being said on intensity2 is libel or slander.

Intensity2 has it's own way of helping autistic folk, even if it is unconventional.

Alex,

I feel that this thread should be locked due to the personal attacks that be been levied at people and the fact that the advertiser has already reached the people that they wanted to reach. I would suggest however not to lock it because locking this thread would cause more problems than leaving it alone.

What I do suggest is that you avoid looking/replying at this thread and have a moderator or 2 keep an eye on it for rule violations (you may even want to have them post a warning as well as a like to the TOS) and whom will deal with violators swiftly.

Even though I do not like Intensity2, it does serve its purpose. It gives people a place to vent (which is support in and of itself) and probably makes the moderators job here easier because the people who would be considered troublemakers here have a place where they can be allowed to do what they want without punishment, making them less likely to do it here. WP offers support in a different way (I want to say socially accepted but I am sure I would get flamed for that). WP is open to those under 18 as well as those who are fragile and whom would be torn apart in I2. This means that Alex needs to enforce a set of rules to make WP the kind of place that the above 2 groups are welcome in. That includes not allowing for personal attacks (and carefully watching site advertisement). I know that the WP site is not perfect either. I think Alex needs to talk to Google (or whoever puts the ads onto the site) about what ads are shown. WP however serves its purpose too.

I do ask of those who are on I2, please do not bring your I2 personalities here. If you do, I would think that Alex and the moderator group would have no choice but to deal with it according to the TOS.

There is much about WP and its first couple of generations that you do not know about. A large portion of those on WP spin-off sites were once WP moderators, veteran members, and banned members.

WP was not originally Alex's brainchild and he is not the first owner. But I do congratulate him on his incredible advertising abilities; it has made WP grow to its inordinate proportions as it is now. Although in cases like WillFreund, I believe he took it too far and should have allowed a time to let it rest because it did seem like he took advantage of a bad situation. But what's done is done.

I am not too fond of Intensity although many of its members are old friends of mine. But I have horrible anxiety with anything that smells like confrontation so Intensity is definitely not my cup of tea.

But as for the former generation, I was a moderator at one time here on WP and I can promise you this thread, in that generation, would have been locked long ago. I know Alex is trying to allow a greater level of freedom of speech because we had great problems with certain members in the past and anything they thought was "cramping" their style.

I suppose the new approach is working better than the former. But I do think it ignores problems a bit more than it should and that perhaps a method of mediation might be better. Not condemning, not ignoring, but mediating problems.

But then the site would become dependent on actually accruing good mediators to fill that job.

It was my understanding that Dan Glover owned it originally although you did a lot of the programming, etc., and then when he left, he gave it over to you.

Sorry if I misunderstood, alex. I don't recall now who told me that.

Head up your scrotum, as per usual.

Thanks Peaguy you as ever are brown tonguing your way up the ranks of the social circle of nobodies. Ive never understood your personal dislike of me Ive come to see now that while it supposidly is a joke on the surface apparently you do deeply hate and loathe me on a deep personal basis which is utterly hillarious. Cause I can't bring myself to do the same to you, waste of effort and energy.
Im not discouraged or intimidated by it in the least infact I revel and enjoy in it because whatever self concieted notion you have that you are in some ways some holier then though moral crusader in the matter it doesnt change the fact that i am in the right and always was.

Now speaking of two faced sh** stirring i believe the person most responsbile for that is my former friend who you associate with. A perfect description of what was perpetrated to begin with and what continues to this day and you have fallen head over heels for it. You know deep down that person knows what I know, and they know sadly that I was right. Now you can latch onto whatever it is that makes you feel compelled to defend them till the ends of the earth. Im happy for you that you have a purpose in life. You may notice we have never engaged openly in any confrontation on the subject until i had some lame msn message dumped on me at some early hours of the morning, out of respect for my former friend. That respect is still there, honesty may one day prevail there but its not up to me. They know what theve done and their piety in their beliefs can be their own judge and jury over that. Maybe they will one day be honest to you, but thats not what your interested at the end of the day.

Right well Its been a nice chat I however need to depart to conspire with an evil manipulator on how to get to the bottom of this whisky bottle and elbaroate evil plans to pair off nobodies on a nobody messageboard like we allegadly do.

I'll smell you later pea guy

I wonder what is socially acceptable in the end. For that change and especially fast on the Internet. I will not say what is done Here at the Wrong Planet is better or worse than Intensitysquared. We all here and even there serve this community the differences will in the end make the Asperger's Community even more stronger I believe in the end.

I have always been Myself no matter what site I go to in the end. I do not have two types of personalities, one on this site or another one on that site either in the end.

i post on intensity and the only problem i have with it is they seem to have a negative obsession about one pirticular person here, i think he knows who he is, so i wont say his name. i think its pretty stupid and a little childish that they bash one person so much. i've let them know how i feel about that over there, i think its wrong. but i like both sites, i cant keep my mind in the gutter all the time and thats why i like it here so much, its much more positive here. and sometimes i need that. but i like intensity because everyone seems to be genuine, even if they are rude there just being themselves. plus the freedom of that site is next to none. i really like that. alot of messageboards that i go to that are big, like this one can become like a soap opera where the simplest of things can be dramatic. i can't deal with that. i have enough stress without trying to play a role in a part i dont want. ive been caught up in it before and it just ruins me everytime to where i'm having meltdowns online and stuff. anyways i like both sites and hope i havent offended anyone here and if i have i'm truely sorry.

Actually, they have a negative obsession with a number of individuals. Enter my name in their search facility and you get a return of 3 pages of material; enter the name of Alex and you get 4 pages. Hale_bopp has also been mentioned regularly in a number of malicious posts. Then there are RobertN and Queen_omega who have both had hate campaigns mounted against them (both used to post regularly here, but not necessarily using those names).

So ascan has negative obsessions with a number of individuals which on a search engine of the intensitysquared forum reveals several pages worth of malicious posts by ascan directed at alleged individuals who have had hate campaigns mounted against them by ascan who posts regularly on here but not neccesarily using his name

Yeah, we would get raided from time to time by either I2 or ZOMGAspies. It was no joke, they would spam bomb the incoming members and I would have to ban them and clean out the spam - sometimes pages and pages each hand banned and accounts deleted. It took forever, so we just banned them on sight. We called it a 'burn notice' - it is all in the ModLogs if Alex ever lets you see the old ones.

But don't CHAT with them, LeeJosepho. Geeze. It is not like you can win, or anything. Just ban them on sight.

PS I like your 'mods are maids' sig. line.

Did members from I2 really go to WP and spam the place like crazy? Or was that her being all paranoid?

I was aware that some members from here and there would post at WP and then get banned. But I don't remember any of them trolling except buttcoffee and Shleed.

I remember that one I2 thread on WP and that was how the "OMG someone started a thread on I2 at WP" thread here started.

The part where starblumine mentioned someone called her an airhead, I wonder if she was referring to eclair about her thread "Airheads who think they have Asperger's?"

Graelwyn is right, I did have problems here with people until I learned to harden the fuck up. Then everyone left me alone.

I just remembered how Zomg members would go back on WP and troll but that was back in 2007 and 2008 and then lot of those members left and Zomg was a different place now. I can now remember Sopho would sometimes go back and spam the place or troll or just post as a regular member. I never joined in.
