Went shopping in driving rain and multiple alerts of a possible tornado that could happen near us.  Nothing happened. ::)  Finally the rain let up enough for me o get a decent walk.   8)  Did some laundry.   :)

I made more progress in the garage. :hadron: I did about twice as much as I usually do in a given day. I want to be able to reach a goalpost within the next two weeks, because and after that I'll need to get back to doing my spring cleaning schedule on the weekends. If I spend any time on the garage in August, it will have to be evenings during the week.  :dunno:

I wish I had.

I sort of sluffed off half the morning, super light rain falling and I was enjoying the animals feeding out by the trees. The interactions between various types vying for position drew my attention away from duty.

I don't want this comment to turn into anything political so, just take it at face value. Laugh a little, if you can.

We ordered a couple of pizzas today, just too hot out there to do our typical fire pit meal on Sunday.

You know "things" are not great when the pizza delivery guy is a forty something, well dressed, arriving in a Mercedes and ringing my doorbell.

I would love to say that it was the best pizza ever, but...

I gave him a $20 tip anyway. Obviously he is navigating harder times than we are.

The fact that my wife drives for UPS and may be about to go on strike next month has not affected us yet.
The understanding is (only barely hitting the news) is a plan to offer early retirement to the tenured workers as a way to help with the demands of higher pay for incoming hirees.
We will burn that bridge after we cross it!
 :dunno:

It sucks to feel like we are in limbo again. But I felt like taking care of the pizza driver today, no matter what happens.

Ventured out into Trump territory for a yard sale.

Yeppers.... I'll take that awesome dremel kit with 200+ bits for $5.00..."You're totally right Jed, Trump 2024...high five!!"

Meanwhile "Mildred" is on the porch trying to sell me baked goods (I don't do baked goods)..."I make everything from scratch...no canned pumpkin in those cookies ONLY fresh, I cut up those pumpkins, cook and mash it myself"...."That's wonderful Mildred!!"...Mildred here needs to get a fucking life.

They're having a moving sale...moving to Florida before fall...because..."that Ron DeSantis is a fucking god".

Shoot me...the dremel kit was kind of worth it though. :lol1:

I have an H Frame dual fifteen subwoofer enclosure and I have recently (well, a couple of months ago) acqurired the matching low range drivers that go with my full range open back drivers.

I have removed my infinite baffle Jamo drivers from that enclosure and replaced them with my new W15 Lii Audio drivers.

Only been a few hours and I am already loving the match between the two. These W15 drivers are designed with a high compliance as the F15 full range drivers are and one expects them to go into an open baffle mounting, but these also kick ass in an H Frame baffle.
SO far, so good.
