Today I walked to the main supermarket in town and bought some pastries, bread, cereal and eggs. When I got home and went to put the eggs away, one had come apart. I had checked them at the shop and they were fine so it must have cracked on the way home.

Turned off the AC for the day, to get some fresh air in the house.  Laundry, watered the plants, pulled some weeds out.  Cooked dinner, yadda yadda yadda........... :P

Started writing a style guide for my client, a week before I'm leaving. Style guides take a lot longer to produce than that, so I'm not sure what the point is, especially since there's no-one in that company to finish the work.

Kayleigh and I went to the shops where I bought presents and a fleecy (sp) pj top for myself. She bought a board game called Fog of Love which we ended up playing at a board game shop nearby. It was a lot of fun. Then Kayleigh had a psych appointment. After that, home time.

Not much, so far. I have begun a refinishing project on an old wooden salad bowl set I found for my daughter last summer. These aren't the common woven veneer type you typically see, but solid hardwood, turned and used gently over the years. I am finally going to complete this labor of love.

Plan to tag in a nap first, if possible.
