The Age of Empires games are good, but they're not city builders at all. They're standard RTSs.

whenever i play age of empires, i always wish i could stay in the 1st stage of development "forever", just hunting deer and foraging berries for my tribe.

i want a game where you only do that :( so serene and peaceful.

I'm playing Risen just now. Could have been a great game, but a few annoying issues stop it from being great. Still good though.

I couldn't play it without having the walkthrough page open on this computer.

I played through Portal yesterday. I have to say, it was quite an enjoyable experience.

I probably would like to play New Vegas, but it will have to wait until I get a half-way decent computer.

Oh, and fuck gamepads. They're for Super Mario Bros, not first person shooters.

At least when I play an old game, like Doom, it loads instantly and there's no stupid cutscenes to slow you down. :zoinks:
