which video games influienced you?

If you could name a video game that influienced you in any way, like changed your perspective over something or taught you something what would that be?

That is a tough one because every game I've ever played had left a tiny impact to influence my life.

But I guess I must say Sonic The Hedgehog, on the count that I was obsessed about that for years as a kid.

Games are fun and I love gaming in my spare time.  No game has ever changed my life or influenced me in any way.  I read books for that kind of thing.

grim fandango
and
fallout 2

ill strongly recommend fallout to you :D
(that image is from fallout 2, which i prefer to fallout 1, cus it simply is bigger, in scope)

And to the posts bellow, I also like Fallout 2, not only because it's bigger, but also because it doesn't have that fucked up
bugs from the first one, like the one that restarted the main quest.
And I also like Fallout NV more than Fallout 3. It seems bigger and more varied.
