That is a good question and one i don't actually know.  I thought it was just a term for money.  I doubt it is cockney slang for anything because we use 'splish splosh' for dosh.

I don't even know why i used the word.  It just slipped out  :zoinks:

I just found this
Quote
DOSH - "n British. Money. This is a working-class term from the early 1950s which was falling out of use in the 1960s, but which, like many similar words (bunce, loot, lolly, etc.) was revived in the money-conscious late 1980s. It is a favourite with alternative comedians and 'professional cockneys.' The original would seem logically to be the old African colonial term 'dash,' denoting a tip or bribe, but other authorities claim that it is influenced by 'doss,' in the sense of the price of a bed (for the night)." From "Dictionary of Contemporary Slang" by Tony Thorne (Pantheon Books, New York, 1990).

blah blah blah

Afraid, very afraid.  Pig and I are the only ones on Intensity now.  If anything happens to me you know who did it.

Why doesn't he post?

Maybe, on some level, he realises his own inherent creepiness and does the one decent thing in his miserable existence, sparing us of the same?

Politely making room for all the non-creepy members?

How very considerate of him, right?

He should come back.

that flummoxed i got time wrong and arrived at the shopping centre just as it was closing.

the only place open was the supermarket.  an old lady and her husband who was in a wheelchair got robbed outside.  felt so sorry for them,  not only did they snatch her bag but they booted her in the shin as well.  no need.  bastards.

so feel a bit angry now
angry and flummoxed  >:D

It is far better for people to hate you for doing the right thing than for people to love you for doing the wrong thing. Never ever forget that.

No thanks. His choice, of course, but he is creepy as hell.

I will try harder.

  You're a slacker.  You won't persevere.  :P
