I've got two lip piercings, a long spike in my labret, and a ring in the side of my lip. Never fancied ear piercings myself, wouldn't suit me, not earlobe piercings at least, an industrial might look ok on me though (long bar going through the cartilage on both sides)

Getting my tat done hurt more than the piercings did though, got a panther done on my shoulder, painful place to get them done, as there isn't really much in the way of padding there, the bone being close to the surface.

I thought that getting piercings done would hurt more than a tattoo. I have a tattoo on my left shoulderblade and I found it didn't hurt much at all. I have my ears pierced as well but I was so young when they were done that I don't remember it. I wouldn't mind a Bajoran earring.

I feel better now that I have had a sleep. I went out and socialised earlier and needed to come home and sleep it off.

Took some sertraline to see if it would help shake the depression.  I stopped taking it a while back since it was giving me pretty bad tremors, but it's not like the depression is much fun either.

Anyone else get a sore throat from their SSRIs?  Sertraline tends to make my gullet tighten up quite uncomfortably if the pills are more than a few months old, and it becomes sensitive to hot liquids.  It doesn't happen if the pills are sufficiently fresh, so I'm guessing there's some unpleasant breakdown product that builds up in them fairly quickly after they're manufactured.  Old pills have a bit more of a pungent smell to them, too (and I'm not talking about expired-old, just ones that have been sitting in the cupboard, sealed in their blister packs for a few months).  The expiry date on the ones I took today (which are giving me a sore throat) is in 2014.

I found that it was more discomfort from the vibration of the needle than pain as such, just one of those things that goes right through me and sets my teeth on edge.

Nope, I don't get dry mouth from it.  Meds which boost norepinephrine give me terrible issues with dry mouth and dry mucus membranes though; atomoxetine was the worst, and I needed eye drops when I was taking it.

  I was on Zoloft  (brand name for sertraline)  for months back in the 90s, and I don't
   remember that happening.  I would ask a doctor or phramacist, maybe the batch is bad.

Going back on the sertraline has cured me of my suicidal ideation, but I don't feel overly fantastic with the side effects.
