You're lucky.

My former CEO was about my age, relaxed and very secure in what he did. Perhaps too relaxed and too secure, I really don't know, but good grief, I miss him.

Not tosay that I haven't had good younger managers. I have. The last one at the film festival was in her early thirties and absolutely brilliant at what she did. She left, unfortunately.
